This class is designed to help students develop their skills, strengthen perception and expand their personal style.  Each student will experiment with new media and receive one-on-one instruction to learn basic drawing and to discover the medium that works for them.
Biography:

Dorris Crandall was Promotion Art Director for Vogue and Glamour Editorial, Art Director for Vogue Children (Bambini) and Vogue Pattern, and Art Director of Cosmopolitan International editions.  She taught illustration and Design for many years at Parsons School of Design, The New School, New York Institute of Technology and Bennett College.

Her paintings have been exhibited at the Brooklyn Museum, The Bodley Gallery, NYC and the Michelson Gallery in Washington, D.C.  Her paintings have been well reviewed by Hilton Kramer.

Her work in Graphic Design and Illustrations has appeared in A.I.G.A. shows, Graphis Annual and The Society of Illustrators, and graphic exhibitions in Paris and Moscow.
