Biography -  Kristen Lanfrank

From an early age Kristen was encouraged to pursue her interest in art.  So it was no surprise that she chose art as her course of study in school.  Starting at SUNY New Paltz and ultimately receiving her degree from Montclair State University.  Kristen wanted to share her love for art and chose to be an art teacher.  Since 1998, Kristen has taught art at the high school level and currently teaches at Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School.
Enrolled in the masters program at Montclair State University, for printmaking, Kristen uses her art to reflect personal experience in her own life: As a woman, teacher, wife and mother.  Kristen takes an unconventional mixed media approach to her prints, creating editions that represent strong feminine imagery enhanced with abstract design and color combinations.  Kristen is also currently illustrating a children’s book and working on commissioned paintings and murals.
